Moving WhatsApp Business from SleekFlow

SleekFlow is an official Meta Business Solution Provider (BSP), so your WhatsApp Business API account is hosted through SleekFlow's infrastructure. Migrating your WhatsApp number away from SleekFlow requires disconnecting the BSP relationship, which involves a few extra steps compared to non-BSP platforms.

Step 1: Check Your WhatsApp Setup

Go to Channels > WhatsApp Business API in SleekFlow to see your connected phone numbers, display names, and WhatsApp Business Account IDs. Note your Meta Business Portfolio ID and the phone number(s) you want to migrate. If you used SleekFlow's "Connect via Coexistence" option (which lets you use both WhatsApp Business App and API simultaneously), the migration path may differ — check SleekFlow's help center for coexistence-specific disconnection steps.

Step 2: Disable Two-Factor Authentication on the WABA

Since SleekFlow is the BSP, two-factor authentication (2FA) on your WhatsApp Business API account is managed through their system. Before disconnecting, you need to disable 2FA on the WABA — otherwise you'll be locked out during the migration. Contact SleekFlow support at [email protected] or via their in-app chat to request 2FA removal on your number.

Step 3: Disconnect from SleekFlow

Remove the WhatsApp channel from SleekFlow's Channels settings. Since SleekFlow hosts the WABA as a BSP, you may also need to initiate a "number migration" process through Meta Business Manager to release the number from SleekFlow's BSP infrastructure. Your verified business status, display name, and quality rating remain tied to your Meta Business Portfolio — not to SleekFlow.

Step 4: Connect to Your New Platform

Once the number is released from SleekFlow's BSP, connect it to your new platform using their WhatsApp OAuth flow. You'll verify the number again via SMS or phone call — this takes about 5 minutes. Your message templates stored in Meta Business Manager carry over automatically.

WhatsApp Hosting Fee Savings

SleekFlow charges $15/month per hosted WhatsApp number on paid plans. When you move to a platform that doesn't charge per-number hosting fees, you save that cost immediately. WhatsApp conversation fees (set by Meta) apply regardless of which platform you use.

Important: Plan the switchover during low-traffic hours. There will be a gap (potentially several hours when migrating from a BSP) between disconnecting from SleekFlow and connecting to your new platform where incoming WhatsApp messages won't be routed to any inbox. Inform your team and, if possible, set up an auto-responder on the WhatsApp Business App during the transition window to let customers know about the temporary service interruption.
