Hiver Pricing: What You Actually Pay

Hiver uses per-seat pricing across four tiers, with critical features like WhatsApp, SLAs, and AI gated behind the Pro plan at $65/user/month (annual). The free plan offers unlimited users but is limited to basic email and live chat with no automations.

Four Tiers with Steep Feature Gating

Free ($0): Unlimited users but only shared inboxes, email, live chat, knowledge base, and Slack integration. No automations, no SLAs, no WhatsApp. Growth ($25/user/mo annual, $35 monthly): Adds AI Compose, AI Summarizer, round-robin assignment, rule-based automations, custom fields, analytics for conversations, and basic integrations. Still no WhatsApp, no voice, no customer portal, no CSAT surveys. Pro ($65/user/mo annual, $85 monthly): Adds WhatsApp, Voice via Aircall, Customer Portal, SLA management, CSAT surveys, AI Agents, AI Copilot, premium integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zapier), and onboarding assistance. Elite ($105/user/mo annual, $125 monthly): Adds AI QA, skill-based routing, custom roles, HIPAA compliance, OKTA SSO, and custom build hours.

Seat Minimums and Increments

Hiver plans start at 2 seats minimum. You can increase from 2 to 5, then in increments of 5 (10, 15, 20, and so on). This means a team of 6 agents must pay for 10 seats on the next increment. Mid-cycle upgrades are prorated, but mid-term downgrades aren't available — you can only reduce seats at renewal.

The WhatsApp Tax

WhatsApp support requires the Pro plan at minimum — $65/user/month (annual). A 5-agent team needing WhatsApp pays $325/month just to access the channel. On Growth ($25/user), you get email, live chat, and basic automations but no WhatsApp, no voice, and no customer portal. Teams that discover they need WhatsApp after starting on Growth face a 160% price jump per seat ($25 → $65).

Annual vs Monthly Pricing Gap

Hiver's monthly pricing is significantly higher: Growth is $35/user (vs $25 annual), Pro is $85/user (vs $65), and Elite is $125/user (vs $105). That's a 30-40% premium for monthly billing. A 5-agent team on Pro monthly: $425/month. On annual: $325/month. Monthly flexibility comes at a steep cost — and many flat-rate alternatives don't differentiate between annual and monthly billing at all.
