Export Your Data

How to Export Your Data from Sprinklr

Sprinklr provides data exports through its Data Connector Export Module, scheduled data extracts, and API payloads — but navigating the export options requires enterprise admin access, and most export features are restricted to specific modules.

Data Connector Export Module

Sprinklr's primary export tool is the Data Connector Export Module, accessible from the platform's launchpad. This module lets you export reporting data, engagement metrics, and audience profiles in CSV format. You configure data sources, select fields, and set date ranges. The module can push data to external destinations like SFTP servers or cloud storage. However, configuring a Unified Data Connector requires admin-level permissions and familiarity with Sprinklr's data architecture — it's not a one-click export.

Dashboard and Widget Exports

Individual reporting dashboards and widgets can be exported as CSV or Excel files directly from the reporting interface. Navigate to any dashboard, click the export icon on a widget, and select your format. This works for analytics data like message volumes, response times, and agent performance — but each widget must be exported individually. There is no single "export all dashboards" button.

Bulk User Export

To export your team's user data (agents, admins, roles), use the Bulk Export Users feature in the governance settings. This exports user profiles, assigned roles, workspace memberships, and permission levels as CSV. You'll need this to map your Sprinklr permission structure to your new platform's role system.

API-Based Export

Sprinklr offers REST APIs for fetching data programmatically — the "Fetching Data through API Payload" approach lets developers pull case data, customer profiles, and interaction history. This requires API credentials and developer resources. For large datasets, Sprinklr supports scheduled data extracts that run on a recurring basis and deposit files in your configured destination.

What You Cannot Easily Export

Workflow automations, routing rules, approval chains, AI agent configurations, and governance policies have no structured export format. These must be documented manually — screenshot your routing logic, copy macro text, and note SLA thresholds before canceling. Social listening data (mentions, sentiment scores) may also be subject to volume-based retention limits depending on your contract tier.

Tip: Start your data export at least 2-3 weeks before your planned switchover. Sprinklr's enterprise data architecture means exports often require IT involvement, and large datasets may take time to process through the Data Connector pipeline. If you use Sprinklr Insights for social listening, export any custom dashboards and saved reports separately — these are stored within the Insights module and won't be included in standard Service data exports.
