Migrating All Channels from Zoho SalesIQ

Zoho SalesIQ supports website live chat, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Telegram, LINE, and WeChat as messaging channels. Discord and Zalo are not natively supported.

Live Chat Widget

SalesIQ's live chat widget is installed via a JavaScript snippet or through native plugins for WordPress, Shopify, and other platforms. To migrate, remove the SalesIQ embed code from your website and replace it with your new platform's widget code. If you used the Shopify or WordPress app, uninstall it and install the new platform's equivalent.

Social Channels (Messenger, Instagram)

These connect via Meta OAuth through your Facebook Business page. Disconnect from SalesIQ under Settings > Messaging Channels, then reconnect the same Facebook page to your new platform. Your page's messaging settings and follower base remain intact — they're tied to Meta, not SalesIQ.

Telegram

SalesIQ connects to Telegram via a bot token from BotFather. You can either revoke the current token and create a new one, or reuse the same token in your new platform. To disconnect from SalesIQ: go to Settings > Messaging Channels > Telegram and remove the integration. Then paste the bot token into your new platform's Telegram setup.

LINE and WeChat

SalesIQ supports LINE and WeChat for markets in Asia. If you use these channels, check whether your new platform supports them natively. Disconnect from SalesIQ's messaging channels settings before reconnecting elsewhere.

New Channel Opportunities

Switching platforms can open access to channels SalesIQ doesn't support. Discord (for community-driven support) and Zalo (essential for businesses in Vietnam) are not available in SalesIQ but may be available on other platforms.

Migration order tip: Start with your lowest-volume channel to test the connection process, then migrate high-traffic channels like WhatsApp and Messenger last.
