Whelp uses per-seat pricing across four tiers. The Free plan is limited to a single seat, and most messaging channel integrations require the Standard plan ($29/seat/mo) or higher. AI chatbot features are locked behind the Advanced plan at $79/seat/mo — and WhatsApp carries additional per-conversation charges from Meta on top of your subscription.

WhatsApp's Hidden Cost Layer
Whelp's pricing page includes a critical footnote: "Businesses using the WhatsApp Business Platform are charged per conversation and monthly, these costs are not included." This means your WhatsApp costs have two components: Whelp's per-seat subscription fee plus Meta's per-conversation charges. Meta's rates vary by conversation category (service, marketing, utility) and country. For a team handling 500 WhatsApp conversations per month, Meta's charges alone can add $25-150/mo depending on your market — on top of the $29-79/seat Whelp fee.
The $50/Seat AI Jump
Whelp's chatbot builder and AI automation features require the Advanced plan at $79/seat/mo — a $50/seat increase over Standard. For a 5-agent team, this means going from $145/mo to $395/mo just to access the chatbot.
