Kustomer Pricing: What You Actually Pay
Kustomer offers two plans — Enterprise at $89/seat/month and Ultimate at $139/seat/month — both requiring annual billing and a minimum of 8 seats. The minimum annual commitment starts at $8,544, before any AI add-ons or overage fees.
Plan Breakdown
Enterprise ($89/seat/mo): Conversational timeline, omnichannel support, tasks and automations (100 business rules), standard and custom reporting, knowledge base (3 languages, 3 brands), 3 queues per team, SLA management, and API access at 1,000 RPM. Ultimate ($139/seat/mo): Everything in Enterprise plus skills-based routing, real-time Pulse dashboard, 10 queues per team, 200 business rules, SAML SSO and SCIM, sandbox environment, 2,000 RPM API limit, and a dedicated Customer Success Manager.
AI Add-Ons (Not Included in Either Plan)
AI Agents for Customers: $0.60 per engaged conversation — charged whenever the AI responds, regardless of whether it resolves the issue. 50 AI conversations/day costs $900/month. AI Agents for Reps: $40/user/month — provides agents with suggested replies, AI summaries, and next-step recommendations. For a 10-agent team, that's an additional $400/month. Kustomer also offers an Enterprise Bundle at $129/user/month that wraps in some AI features.
Storage Overages
Enterprise includes 10 GB data + 500 MB/user and 20 GB attachments + 5 GB/user. Ultimate doubles these limits. Exceeding them triggers automatic charges: $50 per GB for data overages and $1 per GB for attachment overages. A 15-agent team on Enterprise gets 17.5 GB of data storage total — teams with years of conversation history can hit this quickly.
Additional Hidden Costs
Voice, SMS, and WhatsApp are pay-as-you-go channels on top of your seat cost. HIPAA compliance adds $25/user/month. There is no monthly billing option and no free trial — you can only schedule a demo. Teams smaller than 8 agents still pay for 8 seats.
Real Cost Scenarios
An 8-agent team on Enterprise: $712/month ($8,544/year). With AI for Reps: $1,032/month ($12,384/year). A 10-agent team on Ultimate with both AI add-ons: $1,390 base + $600 AI Customers (est. 1,000 conversations) + $400 AI Reps = $2,390/month.
