Compare Pricing Before Switching

Compare HubSpot Service Hub's per-seat pricing against flat-rate alternatives to understand the real cost of switching.

HubSpot Service Hub Pricing: What You Actually Pay

HubSpot Service Hub's per-seat pricing ranges from $20 to $150 per agent per month — but the advertised price is just the starting point. Mandatory onboarding fees ($1,500–$3,500), annual billing requirements, and add-on costs for AI features can push the real cost well beyond what you expect.

Plan-by-Plan Breakdown

Free ($0): Basic ticketing, email templates, and live chat with HubSpot branding. Limited to 2 users — no SLA management, no automation, and no custom reporting. Starter ($20/seat/mo): Removes HubSpot branding, adds help desk automation and 2 ticket pipelines. Still no SLA tracking, no customer portal, and no advanced analytics. Professional ($90/seat/mo): The first tier with SLA management, 15 ticket pipelines, customer portal, service analytics, and the Help Desk workspace. Requires annual billing and a mandatory $1,500 onboarding fee. Enterprise ($150/seat/mo): Adds custom objects, skill-based routing, 1,000 workflows, SSO, and sandbox environments. Requires annual billing, a $3,500 onboarding fee, and a 10-seat minimum ($18,000/year base before the onboarding fee).

Hidden Costs That Add Up

Onboarding fees are non-negotiable: $1,500 for Professional, $3,500 for Enterprise. These are one-time charges on top of your subscription. WhatsApp integration requires Professional or Enterprise — it's not available on Starter. Breeze AI (HubSpot's AI customer agent) is a separate add-on. Contact tiers can increase your bill if you exceed your included contact limit. API limits vary by plan and may require upgrades for high-volume operations.

Annual Billing Lock-In

Professional and Enterprise plans require annual billing. Monthly billing is available for Starter but at a higher rate. If you commit annually and need to downgrade mid-contract, you're locked in until renewal. HubSpot does not prorate downgrades mid-term — you pay for the full year regardless.

Real Cost Scenarios

A 5-agent team on Professional: $90 × 5 = $450/month ($5,400/year) + $1,500 onboarding = $6,900 first year. A 10-agent team: $900/month ($10,800/year) + $1,500 onboarding = $12,300 first year. A 10-agent team on Enterprise: $150 × 10 = $1,500/month ($18,000/year) + $3,500 onboarding = $21,500 first year. With Converge at $49/month flat for up to 15 agents, that same 5-agent team saves $5,052 in year one and $5,352 every year after.
