Deskpro Pricing: What You Actually Pay
Deskpro's three plans range from $39 to $99 per agent per month, but each tier enforces a minimum number of agents — meaning the entry cost is higher than the per-agent price suggests. AI features are locked behind the Professional plan at $59/agent/month.
Plan Breakdown with Minimum Agents
Team ($39/agent/mo): Minimum 5 agents required, so your floor is $195/month. Includes unified inbox, self-service Help Center, basic chatbot, apps, mobile apps, and standard support. Limited to 3 multi-brand Help Centers. No AI features, no Lite Agents, no "remove Powered by Deskpro" branding. Professional ($59/agent/mo): Minimum 10 agents = $590/month floor. Adds Deskpro AI (summaries, draft responses, intent detection, sentiment analysis), AI-powered chatbot, Lite Agents (50), multiple brand support (10), CRM sync, and advanced voice controls. Enterprise ($99/agent/mo): Minimum 25 agents = $2,475/month floor. Adds data center choice, sandbox environment, HIPAA-compliant hosting, custom contracts, unlimited brands, and 1,000 Lite Agents.
AI Feature Gating
Deskpro AI — including ticket summaries, draft responses, intent detection, sentiment analysis, tone enhancement, spelling and grammar check, and AI-powered chatbot — is only available on the Professional plan ($59/agent/mo) and above. The Team plan includes a basic chatbot with chatflows but no AI capabilities. If your team relies on AI assistance for faster response times, you cannot use the entry-level plan and must commit to the Professional tier's 10-agent minimum.
Hidden Cost: Lite Agents and Branding
Lite Agents (limited-access agents who can view tickets and add internal notes) are not available on the Team plan at all. Professional includes 50 Lite Agents, Enterprise includes 1,000. If you need stakeholders, managers, or cross-functional team members to have read-only access to tickets on the Team plan, they must be full-price agents at $39/month each. Additionally, removing the "Powered by Deskpro" branding from your Help Center and chat widget requires the Professional plan — the Team plan always shows Deskpro branding.
Real Cost Scenarios
A 5-agent team on Deskpro Team: $195/month ($2,340/year). A 10-agent team on Team: $390/month ($4,680/year). A 10-agent team on Professional (for AI features): $590/month ($7,080/year). With Converge at $49/month flat for up to 15 agents, a 5-agent team saves $1,752/year vs Deskpro Team — and a 10-agent team saves $4,092-$6,492/year depending on which Deskpro plan you're leaving.
Voice and WhatsApp Add-On Costs
Deskpro's built-in voice channel and WhatsApp integration carry additional usage costs beyond the per-agent fee. WhatsApp messaging rates are charged separately (check Deskpro's WhatsApp pricing page for per-conversation rates). Voice calls consume minutes with per-number costs depending on your data center region. These usage-based charges can add unpredictable costs on top of the already significant per-agent pricing.
