Migration Guide for Agencies
Part of the Userlike migration guide
How agencies managing multiple clients can migrate from Userlike to a more cost-effective platform.
Agency Migration from Userlike (Lime Connect)
Agencies managing support for multiple clients on Lime Connect face a key limitation: the Organizations feature — which enables multi-client management within a single account — is only available on the Flex (enterprise) plan. Lower tiers require separate accounts per client, with each billed independently.
Organizations: Flex-Only Multi-Client Management
Lime Connect's Organizations feature lets agencies manage multiple client accounts from a single dashboard — but it's exclusively available on the Flex plan (custom enterprise pricing). Agencies on Team (€90/mo) or Corporate (€290/mo) must create separate accounts per client, logging in and out to switch between them. This is both operationally clunky and expensive as each account requires its own subscription.
White-Labeling Is Flex-Only
Removing the Lime Connect branding from the Website Messenger — essential for agencies presenting a professional, client-branded experience — requires the Flex plan. There's no add-on or upgrade path to get white-labeling on Team or Corporate. For agencies, this single requirement can force every client setup to the highest-cost enterprise tier, making the economics challenging for smaller client engagements.
Per-Account Cost Structure
Without Organizations (Flex), each client needs a separate Lime Connect account. An agency managing 5 clients on Corporate: 5 × €290/mo = €1,450/mo (~$1,573/mo). Add AI Copilot for 3 agents per client: 5 × (3 × €19) = €285/mo extra. Total: €1,735/mo (~$1,883/mo). On a $49/month-per-company flat-rate platform: 5 × $49 = $245/mo — saving over $19,600/year.
Client-by-Client Migration Strategy
Migrate one client at a time to minimize risk. For each client: export their contact data and conversation history, document their channel configurations (WhatsApp numbers, Telegram bots, connected pages), note their operator group structure and routing rules, and screenshot any Message Templates and Macros. Set up the client as a separate company on your new platform, connect their channels, recreate templates as Quick Replies, and configure routing rules. Keep Lime Connect active for that client for 1-2 weeks of parallel operation.
Agent Management Across Clients
In Lime Connect, operators within an account have roles (available from Team plan) that control their permissions. Without Organizations, the same agent working across multiple clients needs separate login credentials for each account. On your new platform, set up each client as a separate company with its own channels and team members — agents handling multiple clients will need an account per company.
Note: If you're on Lime Connect's Flex plan with Organizations, contact your dedicated account manager to discuss data export options before migrating. Enterprise accounts may have access to enhanced export features not available on self-service plans.
